Beautiful scenery and trails to walk. The rooms are a little small and old fashioned, but the new owners seem to be upgrading them. Even without upgrades, the price and scenery make this lodge a great stay.

Great little place, out in the country and by water, a marina, horse riding trails and hiking paths.
I have been staying here regularly for 3 years. I come to the area to ride my show horses. The lodge has always been clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The new owners have added some nice amenities in the form of an in-room mini- fridge and microwave. This is not a fancy hotel, but rather a quiet unpretentious lodge in a beautiful setting.
The staff is outstanding! The rooms are extremely clean.
A real hidden jem. Cost per night is very reasonable with easy access to state parks and a boat ramp for lake Ray Roberts
